A lot of thoughts go through my mind,
Oh, So many tears I seem to find.
I want to say what's in my heart,
God bless this nation I will start.


All through my body numbness I feel,
I can't believe this -- but it is real.
Across the screen horror flashed,
Dear God in Heaven I start to ask.


The world needs you to help us find,
Just a little hope and peace of mind.
"Why!" I keep asking and saying,
Down on my knees I start praying.



Our father in Heaven, help us with this horrible tragedy.
My prayers are with all who have lost their lives,
been injured or lost a loved one.
I pray for all the Firefighters, emergency personal,
and all the many volunteers who are
helping in this tragedy,
I pray Father to keep them safe.
As we mourn together, we will stand together.
Our faith is with you.
God Bless America!
