Little Kids Know

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children
while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see
each child's artwork. As she got to one little boy who was
working diligently, she asked what the drawing was.
The little boy replied, "I'm drawing God."
The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what
God looks like." Without missing a beat or looking up
from his drawing the boy replied,
"They will in a minute."

Where God Ain't

He was just a little lad, and on the week's first day, he was wandering,
home from Sunday School and dawdling on the way.

He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he found a caterpillar; he found a
fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the "filler."

A bird's nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed on high, was just
another wonder that caught his eager eye.

A neighbor watched his zigzag course, and hailed him from the lawn;
asked him where he'd been that day, and what was going on.

"I've been to Bible school," he said, and turned a piece of sod.
He picked up a wiggly worm and said, "I've learned a lot of God."

"A very fine way," the neighbor said, "for a boy to spend his time."
"If you'll tell me where God is, my boy, I'll give you a dime."

Quick as a flash his answer came!
Nor were his accents faint.
I'll give you a dollar, "Mister," he said,
"if you tell me where God ain't!"

God is taking Pictures

A small child walked to and from school.
Though the weather one morning was questionable
and clouds were forming, this child made the
daily trek to the elementary school.

As the day progressed, the wind whipped up,
along with the thunder and lighting.
The mother was worried that her child would
be frightened walking back home from school,
and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.

Following the roar of thunder, lighting would cut through
the sky like a flaming sword.
Being concerned, the mother got into her car and drove
along the route to her child's school.

Soon she saw her small child walking along,
but at each flash of lighting,
the child would stop, look and smile.
One followed another, each time with her child stopping,
looking at the streak of light and smiling.

Finally, the mother called and asked,
"What are you doing?"
Her child answered,
"God keeps taking pictures of me."

Little boy helps

A four year old boy whose next door
neighbor was an elderly gentleman
who had recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry,
the little boy went into
the old gentleman's yard,
climbed onto his lap,
and just sat there.
When his mother asked him
what he said to the neighbor,
the little boy said,
"Nothing,
I just helped him cry."

Doctor visit

A four year old was at the pediatrician for a check up.
As the doctor looked down in her ears,
he asked, "Do you think I'll find Big Bird in here?"

The little girl stayed silent.
The doctor took a look down her throat,
he asked, "Do you think I will find
the Cookie Monster in here?"
The little girl stayed silent.
Then, as the doctor was listening to her heart,
he asked, "Do you think I will hear Barney in here?"

The little girl broke her silence and said,
"No ! You will find Jesus in my heart,
but Barney is on my underwear."

Little boy

An eye witness account from New York City
on a cold day in December.
A little boy about 10 years old
was standing in front of a shoe store window,
barefooted and shivering from the cold.
A lady approached the boy and said,
"My little fellow,
why are you looking so
earnestly in that window?"

"I was asking God to give me a pair of shoes,"
was the boy's reply.
The lady took him by the hand and went into the store
and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pairs of socks
for the little boy.
She then asked if he could give her
a basin of warm water, some soap and a towel.
He quickly brought them to her.
She took the little fellow to the back part of the store and,
removing her gloves, knelt down, washed his little feet,
and dried them with the towel.
By this time the clerk had returned with the socks,
placing a pair of socks upon his little feet,
she purchased a pair of shoes for him.

She tied up the remaining pairs of socks,
and gave them to the boy.
She patted him on the head and said,
"No doubt, my little fellow,
you feel more comfortable now?"

As she turned to go,
the astonished lad caught her by the hand,
and looking up in her face,
with tears in his eyes,
answered the question with these words:

"Are you God's Wife?"
