A Mother's Plea
A promise is a promise
that must always be kept.
Please don't do anything
that in time you'll regret.

To stand beside each other
through thick and thin.
The road they have traveled
is starting to bend.

Better days and brighter tomorrow's
are finally here with no more sorrows.
Together again as a family should be
please open your eyes, can't you just see.

You hold what they love
in the palm of your hands.
You have to let go
this wasn't the plan.

It'll be the children
that this will hurt.
In time you will see
this just won't work.

They need Daddy and Mommy
and no matter what…
They are still their parents
and they love them so very much.

I don't want to hurt anyone
I just want you all to see.
Just how this is effecting
the whole entire family.

I know you understand this
you both are parents to
Imagine life without your children…
just what would you do...?
